If you’ve driven through White Salmon since the morning of Thursday, May 15th, you’ve probably noticed that the white salmon have returned to White Salmon again this year. A talented team of fish wranglers worked all morning to keep those fishies penned up in the crosswalks so they wouldn’t end up all over town and getting in trouble.
The hard-working team that took care of the migration in record time included: TJ, Jeff, Troy and Roger from WS Public Works, Debi Budnick, Kathy vonMosch, Steve and Sarah Gibson, Mayor Dave Poucher, City Councilors, Kimberly Hoppus and Bill Werst, and Lloyd DeKay. Be sure to give them all a thank-you and a pat on the back for keeping all those fishies safely in the crosswalks and gracing our city streets.
