COME TO A COMMUNITY DISCUSSION on Aging in the Gorge around a world cafe mode. We will be hosting a free event at the White Salmon library Thursday, Nov 3rd from 6:30-8 to 8:30 pm for all interested. The Idea is to generate conversations around preparing for services needed to age successfully in our area.
Share with old and new friends and neighbors your ideas about aging and caregiving in our region. Reading and discussing the book “THE AGE OF DIGNITY: Preparing for the Elder Boom in an Aging America By Ai-jen Poo” together can change how we view our aging, how we plan for our futures, how we respect and value our elders, and how we support those who need caregiving – and those who provide it.
The conversations will be facilitated in “World Café” style — fun, no pressure, and designed to find common threads among us all.discussion.
